​I Love My Parks Day, the traditional kick off to our gardening season up at Knox, has been canceled but for those who have been self isolating together we have many ways for you to help around the gardens–raking the beds or laying mulch for example!  We will schedule a time for you, guided by the garden club, with equipment being cleaned between uses. A great family activity that gets you out and helps your community too!

One can also still tend their garden or participate in a socially distant group garden outlined below.

The Knox Farm Garden Club’s mission is to aid in the beautification of the gardens around the Main House for park visitors and wedding guests to enjoy.

We'd like to invite you to help in our mission by:

• Adopting a section of garden to tend, alone or with friends, on your own schedule.
• Participating in our newly launched group gardening -Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30. Group gardening is for those who don’t want the responsibility of adopting a bed or who would like company while maintaining their bed starting May 7th, weather permitting. Group gardeners will tend to the areas of the garden that do not have a caretaker.  
• Being an armchair gardener for those who like to take on administrative work- planning meetings, organizing speakers/events, etc.
• Joining “Love My Parks” events.
